Repair and Restore Herbal Skin Salve

Nature provides us with natural ways of helping to heal in the herbs and flowers that grow abundantly all around us.

Each plant contains its own unique complex constituents with therapeutic actions and has its own energy signature which we can connect with.

Plants have a beautiful and intuitive way of showing up for us when we need them.

Repair and Restore Herbal Skin Salve has been crafted from the Comfrey, Plantain and Yarrow which grows abundantly in my garden.

They each have potent healing actions which are beneficial for minor cuts, sprains, bites, stings, and bruising.

Repair and restore with help from Comfrey, Plantain and Yarrow.

Comfrey contains allantoin that stimulates repair of damaged tissue cells, rosmarinic acid reduces inflammation, mucilage soothes irritated tissues.

Plantain usually seen as a weed but has many therapeutic benefits. Plantain soothes; it has a drawing out action which can be useful for splinters. Antimicrobial and antiseptic properties can reduce risk of infection.

Yarrow has a gentle and supportive energy. It’s many therapeutic actions promote healing of cuts and abrasions with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant actions. Yarrow has antimicrobial, analgesic effects and is also an astringent which helps to stop bleeding and draws tissue together.

Infused in Hemp Seed oil which is packed full of omega 3 and 6, and essential fatty acids which have soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, which can be useful for inflamed skin and joints.

Beeswax has its own unique therapeutic properties, antimicrobial, an emollient, and a natural preservative.

Shea butter is the fat extracted from the nuts of the Shea tree. Highly moisturising and packed with antioxidants.

Coconut Oil is high in fatty acids which create a protective barrier and soothes inflammation.

This product is handmade in small batches to provide a high standard of quality for each product.

Salves will vary in colour depending on the colour of the beeswax and oil used.

(Natural beeswax will vary from being light almost white colour to a very dark orange colour.)

Use within 24 months of opening.

It can soften in hot weather. If too soft put the tin in the fridge for a short period to harden.
