Collection: Herbal Infused Oils

Herbal infused oils are a gentle extraction of the therapeutic properties and essence of the medicinal herb into the chosen oil.

This process allows us to access the herbs actions such as anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-microbial, analgesic, calming, warming, cooling and many more.

A synergy between herb and oil.

Herbs, flowers, medicinal weeds are mindfully harvested from my garden or sourced from ethical providers. They then go through a drying process which may range from 24 hours to a few weeks depending on the herb and the use.

They are then placed in a jar, and the chosen oil is poured on top.

Depending on the use of the infused oil there are many different oils that can be used. I use extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, camellia oil, hemp seed oil.

The jar is then placed in a dark place to infuse for 6 weeks.

Sometimes it needs to be infused in gentle sunlight which depends on the plant that is being infused.

Herbal infused oils are a beautiful gentle way to bring nature's abundant therapeutic energy into our everyday lives.

They have a range of uses from promoting healing of scars, burns, cuts, inflamed and irritated skin.

They can help us with sleeping, calming our busy minds and ease headaches.

They can just be used as part of your daily skin care routine.
